What is BNP SP?
Ballast Nedam Bouw Speciale Projecten [Building Special Projects] specialises in the (technical) development, preparation and implementation of large and/or complex projects with a high risk profile. These involve utilitarian projects and (high-rise) housing projects that have a total building cost of over € 17.5 million. The organisation comprises around two hundred employees and has an annual turnover of approximately € 130 million.
 What do we do?
Every construction project has its own dynamic and complexity. Whatever the nature of this complexity – whether it’s a question of a difficult construction, a high building speed, complicated logistics, or all of these problems at once – BNB Speciale Projecten guarantees comprehensive control of the construction process. We often fulfil the role of total supplier, which means that not only do we take on the role of contractor, but we also undertake the organisation and management of the project. This method of working brings great efficiency and continuity benefits for both the customer and the parties involved.
Engineer & Build?
A form of collaboration that occurs quite frequently in Special Projects is Engineer & Build. In this instance, the customer has control over the design, but we are responsible for the project development and execution.
Other forms of collaboration?
Naturally, the expertise of Speciale Projecten can be applied in other forms of collaboration than Engineer & Build, for instance Design and Build, Building Team or Traditional contract.
