Paulus Eckhardt appointed as Director Digital Transformation & Innovation

With 19 years of experience in the construction sector (10 of which within Ballast Nedam), Paulus is familiar with the rise of digitalisation and innovations in the market and the way in which this has an impact on us and our customers. In addition to further strengthening the internal direction, the development of partnerships in the market will also be one of his tasks. Paulus has a track record in the market with regard to digitalisation and building relationships with parties in this area. He is also well acquainted internally with other Ballast Nedam Business Units and Shared and Technical Services from his role as Director of Design & Engineering in the past.

Paulus Eckhardt: “I am convinced that this investment contributes to providing more added value for our customers. Internally, we make faster and better decisions, reduce costs and improve our processes. We create competitive advantage and add value to the way we design, build and manage assets. Within Ballast Nedam we are already working on innovative projects such as BIM4Project and I am really looking forward to help the Business Units to expand this even further. In addition, I will be responsible for the internal sharing of knowledge and "best practices" and look at cross-fertilisation with themes of sustainability and safety.”
