Ballast Nedam is joining forces with GreenFox and is focusing even more strongly on Social Return

To further structure the deployment of Social Return, Ballast Nedam Board Member Sander Lefevre and Renzo Deurloo of Greenfox Social Return have officially kicked off the collaboration.

Greenfox will support Ballast Nedam in reporting and analyzing the use of Social Return. In addition, Greenfox will also map out opportunities where we can use Social Return extra, outside of the obligations. 

In 2020, our use of Social Return was successful in no fewer than 31 projects, where we welcomed new colleagues to positions such as construction site assistant, doorman and carpenter. We expect that commitment to continue to increase in the coming years. The involvement of GreenFox allows us to fulfill our Social Return obligations on our projects even better. In addition, GreenFox will place five extra people outside the project obligations. We also take our responsibility ourselves to create additional jobs for the Social Return target group, both for the duration of the project and for the long term.

Kick-off in Tilburg 

The collaboration got off to a flying start with the MindLabs Tilburg project, which is being realized by Ballast Nedam Zuid and BINX Smartility. GreenFox is involved in the process at an early stage. Together we managed to involve a total of eight candidates in this project.
