Ballast Nedam appoints Eric van Zuthem as CEO
Ballast Nedam has appointed Eric van Zuthem as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective February 1, 2026. He succeeds Kemal Sağlam, who, after six years as CEO, will take on a new role within parent company Rönesans Holding. Ballast Nedam expresses its deep appreciation for Mr. Sağlam’s dedication and leadership and wishes him every success in his new position within the group.
Eric van Zuthem (born 1968) has been a member of Ballast Nedam’s Executive Board since January 2022 and is responsible for the international division.
Van Zuthem studied civil engineering at the University of New Hampshire (USA). Before joining Ballast Nedam, he was a member of the Management Board of Royal BAM Group and CEO of BAM International. With extensive experience in leading international organizations and managing large, complex projects, he brings a solid foundation to his new role.
