Operating when a building is already in use

Focus on the maintenance and total operation of integral projects

Ballast Nedam Asset Management

Construction project delivered, job done! At least, that's what you might think. In fact, Ballast Nedam Asset Management is now still in full swing. In fact, for a number of projects in our portfolio, we are responsible for management and maintenance while the building is already in use. We do this from a management perspective: we have final responsibility and our partners carry out the maintenance.

What do we do?

Some management and maintenance phases can last up to 30 years. During that period, Ballast Nedam Asset Management ensures that the project keeps running and maintenance takes place on time. Already during project construction, we map the processes, advise on the approach and make risks transparent. We bring in partners for most of the execution and ensure proper management and analysis ourselves.

A selection of projects

Ballast Nedam Asset Management has dozens of challenging projects to its name. A selection of the portfolio:

Wat makes us different?

Manoeuvring within contracts: that's where Ballast Nedam Asset Management's strength lies. After all, when a building is already in use, it is quite complex to carry out management and maintenance while being virtually invisible to end users. We therefore look at the design from the early stages and advise, for example, on the layout of a building, the procurement of certain products or attracting the right partners.

For which clients does Ballast Nedam Asset Management work?

The projects we work on are built for public parties such as municipalities, institutions and governments. But in fact, Ballast Nedam is always Ballast Nedam Asset Management's client: as we only manage and maintain projects built and (partly) financed by Ballast Nedam.
