Why working at Ballast Nedam Asset Management?
Through workshops, training courses, development sessions and team-building outings, we strengthen our team spirit and challenge each other to get the best out of ourselves. In addition, we organise formal sessions four times a year in which we reflect together on where we stand, where we want to go and which developments we see that we can capitalise on.
We focus on individual development paths, so that you are given a role in which you can really make a difference to our projects and contribute to society. We employ people who want to move forward in an environment where you are constantly challenged and supported to grow and get the best out of yourself.
I have been working at Ballast Nedam Asset Management for seven years now and really enjoy it. I look forward to going to work every day; I really feel at home here. Although our colleagues work at different locations, we’re there for one another when needed. We share experiences and support one another, which helps us grow as individuals and as a team. The people who work here are more than just my colleagues. We have a great bond with one another.
The clients
Ballast Nedam Asset Management’s external client is the Rijksvastgoedbedrijf, in conjunction with the end-users, such as the Dienst Justitiële Inrichtingen, Defensie or Belastingdienst. We take care of everything for the client throughout the long-term contract period, which is usually 20 to 25 years: we assist with the procurement of resources and the recruitment of the right partners, whilst ensuring proper management and analysis. We handle everything so that the property can remain in continuous use and the primary process can always continue, maintenance is carried out on time, and users experience it in a positive and safe manner.
