Why working at Hurks
Working at Hurks means working in a dynamic environment where a wide range of roles come together. Whether you’re working as a service engineer or a project manager, everyone contributes towards the result.
Hurks has been part of Ballast Nedam since 2025. During that period, Ballast Nedam Zuid became part of Hurks. This development has led to new partnerships and opportunities, through which we expect to further increase our impact in the market. Hurks has its roots as a family business. This is reflected in the commitment of our colleagues and in the long-term employment relationships: many employees have been working at Hurks for years, some even since the 1980s. This continuity ensures knowledge, experience and a pleasant working atmosphere.
Within the organisation, there is a focus on development. Employees are given the opportunity to progress and develop further, in line with their wishes and ambitions.
We work with short lines of communication and in an informal setting. In addition to our daily work, there is scope for socialising, for example during the New Year’s gathering, the end-of-year drinks and activities organised by the staff association.
At Hurks, we are leading the way in making the construction sector more sustainable
Hurks is increasingly seen as a sustainable and innovative company. We’re even being cited as a frontrunner here and there, which makes me incredibly proud. It’s a sign that all our efforts are starting to pay off.
Who are our stakeholders?
We work with a wide range of stakeholders, including housing associations, property developers, investors, retailers and local authorities. Based in Eindhoven, we collaborate with partners to create living environments where people enjoy living and working. Collaboration and quality are at the heart of everything we do. As a family business, we build lasting relationships based on trust and mutual benefit.
