Hurks

Is building the future

Since 1916, we have been delivering safe and sustainable residential and utility construction projects as a family-owned company. For over a century, our company has thrived thanks to the power of collaboration. We focus on three core activities: development, construction, and maintenance & renovation. Operating from Eindhoven, we place a strong emphasis on the province of North Brabant and, where necessary, beyond, to provide our clients with the best possible support.

  • Trustworthy

At Hurks, we believe in the power of being close to our customers, partners and the community. We deliver quality, on time and as agreed. Safety, transparency and integrity are central to the way we do business.

  • Committed

Construction is a process built on trust. Our clients and partners can always count on us. By actively listening to the needs of stakeholders, we turn complex challenges into widely supported outcomes.

  • Entrepreneurial

As an enterprising construction partner, we think ahead and are always on the lookout for smart solutions that truly add value. We encourage innovation at every level and are not afraid to think outside the box.

Why working at Hurks

Working at Hurks means working in a dynamic environment where a wide range of roles come together. Whether you’re working as a service engineer or a project manager, everyone contributes towards the result.

Hurks has been part of Ballast Nedam since 2025. During that period, Ballast Nedam Zuid became part of Hurks. This development has led to new partnerships and opportunities, through which we expect to further increase our impact in the market. Hurks has its roots as a family business. This is reflected in the commitment of our colleagues and in the long-term employment relationships: many employees have been working at Hurks for years, some even since the 1980s. This continuity ensures knowledge, experience and a pleasant working atmosphere.

Within the organisation, there is a focus on development. Employees are given the opportunity to progress and develop further, in line with their wishes and ambitions.

We work with short lines of communication and in an informal setting. In addition to our daily work, there is scope for socialising, for example during the New Year’s gathering, the end-of-year drinks and activities organised by the staff association.

At Hurks, we are leading the way in making the construction sector more sustainable
Hurks is increasingly seen as a sustainable and innovative company. We’re even being cited as a frontrunner here and there, which makes me incredibly proud. It’s a sign that all our efforts are starting to pay off.

Who are our stakeholders?

We work with a wide range of stakeholders, including housing associations, property developers, investors, retailers and local authorities. Based in Eindhoven, we collaborate with partners to create living environments where people enjoy living and working. Collaboration and quality are at the heart of everything we do.
