Importance of regional businesses

"The strategy of Ballast Nedam revolves around balancing entrepreneurship with risk management and stability. We prioritise projects with a repetitive nature and economies of scale, where expertise can be (re)applied and risks can be better managed. This underscores the importance of strong regional businesses," says Mr. Kemal Sağlam, CEO of Ballast Nedam. "Niels has been a part of our organisation for many years and has repeatedly demonstrated strong strategic leadership, combined with pragmatism and transparency in collaboration. He is a very welcomed and suitable addition to the Board of Management."
