Meet Evert Jan Pluimers
Managing Director Ballast Nedam Infra Technologies
Evert Jan has been a director at Ballast Nedam Infra Technologies since late 2024. He is responsible for developing and delivering future-proof infrastructure solutions in the Netherlands, such as tunnels, bridges and other vital assets. Smart technology, digitalisation and sustainability are central to this work.
As a coordinating organisation, Ballast Nedam Infra Technologies links projects and asset management across the entire lifecycle. With this in mind, we are working on integrated solutions in which implementation and management fit together seamlessly. Collaboration is a key principle in this regard. Working in close consultation with clients, partners and colleagues, we develop innovative and scalable solutions that meet the growing demand for replacement and renovation. In this way, we contribute to a safe, reliable and sustainable living environment.
Evert Jan has a background in electrical engineering and industrial automation, and extensive experience in management and executive roles within the industrial and infrastructure sectors. He is using this experience to further strengthen the organisation and prepare it for the future. His leadership style is characterised by clear frameworks, in-depth expertise and a focus on people and the organisation. In this way, he provides direction for complex challenges relating to sustainability, safety and the availability of infrastructure.
