Meet Niels Doodeman
Algemeen Directeur Heddes Bouw & Ontwikkeling
Niels has been with Heddes since 1990 and has held the position of Managing Director since the company became part of Ballast Nedam in 2011. In October 2023, Niels also joined the Executive Board of Ballast Nedam. In addition, he holds a board position on behalf of Ballast Nedam at Ursem Modulaire Bouwsystemen, which works closely with Heddes Bouw & Ontwikkeling.
‘Building with passion’ sums up Niels’ approach and conviction, in which the right market focus and collaboration are particularly important. Transparency and communication are essential for that collaboration. Niels puts it as ‘doing what you say and saying what you do’. It is partly his West-Friese heritage that makes Niels a down-to-earth go-getter, who is mad about building and loves his work, but is also a real family man.
