Ballast Nedam participates in dyke strengthening Rijnkade Arnhem
The starting point within this acquisition is that ABC will continue to operate as an independent organisation under its own name.
Eric van Zuthem, Ballast Nedam Management Board Member states: “With the addition of ABC to our group of companies, we now have the added ability to service our clients and stakeholders in the health services industry throughout the UK. Furthermore, through scalability and our international footprint, we can more effectively export this expertise abroad in combination with client tailored solutions, including project financing."
Ballast Nedam has already established a portfolio in this area with the construction of the new hospital in Curaçao in 2020 and the Erasmus Medical Centre in Rotterdam in 2017. ABC has years of knowledge and experience in carrying out specialist work, such as fitting out medical treatment rooms where high-quality equipment is placed. The acquisition is therefore a logical step that fits within Ballast Nedam's growth strategy. This acquisition of ABC will strengthen and expand its UK operations, following its acquisition of Stripe Consulting Ltd. in 2019.
